Daily: Brushes used with liquid or cream products, such as foundation and concealer brushes, should be cleaned daily to prevent buildup and bacteria. Weekly: Brushes used with powder products, like eyeshadow and blush brushes, can be cleaned once a week. Monthly: Less frequently used brushes can be cleaned monthly, but should still be checked for residue and buildup.
